This is the right address for everything: bug reports, questions about a purchase, requests for a tool that does not exist yet, corrections to something written on the site, and press or partnership enquiries. Kimbaro is a one-person project, so a reply usually takes a day or two and sometimes longer over a weekend.

Reporting a problem with a tool

Most reports are about printing, and printing is where browsers differ most. Three details make a problem fixable on the first reply rather than the third:

• Which tool you were using, and the browser and operating system.
• Whether the trouble is on screen or only on paper — a grid that looks right in the browser and wrong when printed is a different bug from one that is wrong in both.
• What you expected instead. "The last column is cut off" is enough.

Please do not paste a long word list or a list of real names into an email to demonstrate a bug. The tools deliberately never receive that data, and there is no reason for it to reach an inbox either — a description of the shape of the input ("about 40 words, some longer than 12 letters") is more useful.

Help with a paid tool

If you bought a paid tier and the licence key will not activate, send the email address you used at checkout and the name of the tool. Please do not include card details; they are never needed and nobody here can act on them.

The same details, in the form German law requires, are on the legal notice page. Email is much faster than post.

Privacy of what you send

An email you send is an ordinary email: it sits in a mailbox and is used to answer you. It is not added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list. How the site itself handles data is described in the privacy policy.
