How to make your wedding seating chart

  1. Paste your guest list, one name (or couple) per line. Guests are seated in list order, so put people who belong together on neighbouring lines.
  2. Insert a blank line wherever a new table should start — that gives you full control over who sits together, without any dragging.
  3. Set seats per table, name your tables, and click Print / Save PDF for elegant table cards plus an alphabetical "find your seat" index.

Seating chart etiquette, briefly

Seat the wedding party and immediate family closest to the couple; mix friend groups only where you know they'll get along; and give every guest at least one person they already know at the table. Couples stay together, recent exes don't. For round tables, eight seats is the sweet spot — ten fits but conversation splits. The alphabetical index page matters more than the floor plan: guests don't study charts, they look up their own name.

Can I use this for other events?

Yes — the chart works the same for corporate dinners, galas, birthday parties, conferences and school reunions. Anything with tables and a guest list.

Can I download the chart as a PDF?

Yes. Click Print / Save PDF and choose "Save as PDF" as the destination. The table cards and the guest index print on separate pages, with no watermark.

Is my guest list uploaded anywhere?

No. The chart is generated by JavaScript in your browser — your guest names never leave your device, and the page works offline once loaded.
